To obtain a job in web development utilizing my attention to detail, passion in what I do, and hard work ethic to enhance and support your business goals.

EXPERIENCE

March 2010 - Present

Brightleaf Media - Site Coding
Having the opportunity to work freelance for Brightleaf has greatly improved my web developing skills over this past year. Cross-browser support had been an issue in my past but after completing multiple projects I have learned specific coding techniques to get around all those nasty issues. Projects for Brightleaf have also really helped my JavaScript coding for customizable slideshows and drop-down menus.

October 2010

Mable Design - Celsius Site Coding & Wordpress
Through Mable Design, I took on a unique coding project for a snowboarding boots site. One of the site features is scaling background images that also cycle for a slideshow effect. Another great part of the site is it's overall usability. Animations and fades gave the appearance of a flash site, but by using only JavaScript, maintaines the compatibility that makes regular XHTML coding so great. Wordpress integration also gives easy access for Celsuis to add, update and delete posts from the news feed. These posts can contain text, images and videos giving them a wide variety of options when posting.

July 2010

NW Furniture Bank - Site Coding
The NW Furniture Bank site was a project that also used Wordpress integration. The ease and simplicity for users using Wordpress really helps sites like this be used to their full potential. Font replacement is another beautiful feature used for a few different fonts throughout the site.

December 2009 - Present

Longbranch Improvement Club - Site Design & Coding
I have been employed as the web master for the Longbranch Improvement Club. Designing and coding this site required use of PHP for forms and restricted access zones. As the site web master, my duties are updates and keeping the site current. By using an embedded Google Events calender, I am able to allow easy access for club members to add, edit and remove events and notices as needed.
